AnnArbor.com readers capture changing colors of autumn

By Kyle Mattson

The 2012 color change here in Ann Arbor is one of the more vibrant we've seen in years, explained Michael Palmer, Horticulture Manager of Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum.

We asked you to grab your phone or camera and send us your shots of autumn from around Washtenaw County, and we received some great entries so far. Keep in mind though — peak color season is just now arriving in town, so continue sending in your shots and we'll feature them in next week's gallery.

We'd also like to congratulate Shawn Sieg for winning week one in our Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra ticket giveaway. Our next drawing for the giveaway will be next Tuesday so be sure to send in a photo by then to be entered!

How to submit a photo:

  • Upload the photo using the form below
  • Tweet us the photo at @annarborcom
  • Use the hashtag #a2photos on Instagram
