Position switches, political campaigns and grammar

By Michael Rothstein

Denard Robinson may have been at wide receiver for a couple of plays Saturday against Illinois, but don't expect it to be permanent.

Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez said Tuesday that Robinson isn't being prepped for an imminent switch to wide receiver - something Robinson's high school coach also believes.

81 Wolverine: Why do you raise the question as to Shoelace fate next year if Denard Gardner should come ot Michigan. Why aren't you concerned about Forcier's fate. As I said before, Forcier would be a good fit for the MAC or some other Division AA school where he can run the spread. Did you see Oregon's QB on Saturday night run the spread? When Shoelace becomes acclimated at that position, that's what you will see.

Michigan would really benefit by getting Denard out on the field more. He's a great talent that is being wasted on the bench when we need offensive playmakers. But, playing QB won't work well for him right now, at least. It makes you wonder what will happen next year with him, when Devin Gardner comes in.
