We’ll contact the potential winner by phone and email. The potential winner will have to respond within 2 hours. You must be 18 years old at the time of entry and a Michigan resident to win. Honestly, I'll be very happy to see MSU win their bowl game. It's good for the B1G 10. Though the only game I'm really excited about is the Sugarbow. Everyone from my kids to my Grandmother will be jumping up and down yelling at the TV cheering for Michigan! I haven't heard too much about the other bowls that we're playing in this year; perhaps we have all been so excited about Michigan, we just haven't been talking much about the other schools. I only hear that 2012 is record year for playing in bowls. However, there is that part of me that part of me that won't mind watching the school in Ohio lose to whoever they are playing.

So, what ex-person and what x-team can just not shut it, zip it up, walk away and get on with their life ?

Don't mean to whine like a sparty but kinda shuts out the out of state Blue fans with the restrictions on receiving the winners tickets.

Fri, Dec 9, 2011 : 2:38 a.m.

Oops..I now see you have to be a MI resident. DOH!

Fri, Dec 9, 2011 : 2:16 a.m.

Remember the 2 teams State lost to we beat.....Sparty is a crybaby

Fri, Dec 9, 2011 : 1:12 a.m.

The Outback Bowl is giving a $150 Best Buy gift card and @25 Outback Steakhouse gift certifcate as swag for participants. Sparty can finally buy a remote control for their tv and watch the Sugar and Rose Bowl chilling on their half-burnt couch, while wallowing in self pity over an order of blooming onions.

Thu, Dec 8, 2011 : 8:02 p.m.

If Sparty is so upset ,maybe they should pass on taking the money from the BCS that will get handed out to each school in the conference because a B1G TEN school is playing in this game. One other thing, the goal is to get to the Rosebowl, both schools missed the goal.

Fri, Dec 9, 2011 : 2:32 a.m.

If sparty passed on all the money UM shared with the B1G, they wouldn't have enough money to field a football team.

Thu, Dec 8, 2011 : 3:10 p.m.

Sparties are such goofs. Your team had its run and even in its glory years, MSU is considered secondle fiddle to UM by the football world. Enjoy the win, it is the last one for quite some time.

At least Sparty has figured out how to spell "backwards". LOLOLOL But, let's face it, couch burning is Sparty's strong suit. GN&GL

Thu, Dec 8, 2011 : 3:20 p.m.

"Remember I beat you in Street Fighter 2?" "Remember I scored on you in basketball?" "Remember I beat you one-on-one?" I don't usually refer to msu as "little brother", but the more I see the whining about the BCS selection (dude, you're not old enough to drive yet) and posts like crown's, the more apparent it becomes of the spartan mentality. Quite little brother-ish.
