New Saline Bank of Ann Arbor branch set to open in mid-January

By Ben Freed

The new Bank of Ann Arbor branch in Saline, first announced in April 2012, will open its doors for business later in January, according to a report in Saline Patch.

The new branch, in the former Bank of America office at 179 E. Michigan Ave., will look brand new, as the building has been through extensive interior and exterior renovations.

The branch will be Bank of Ann Arbor’s seventh location, and first in Saline, joining four Ann Arbor branches and one each in Ypsilanti and Plymouth.

The bank has grown significantly in recent years in part thanks to its local focus and unorthodox advertising campaigns. In recognition of its growth and community leadership, the Bank of Ann Arbor was named AnnArbor.com's Company of the Year at the 2012 Deals of the Year event.
