The 6th annual Totally Awesome Fest was off to a rocking start Friday night at VG Kids and Dreamland Theater in Ypsilanti, featuring music from a dozen acts, including Lightning Love, Chris Bathgate, and Kelly Caldwell, plus a performance piece by Emogene Nightingale’s Octopus Ballet.

Totally Awesome Fest continues Saturday and Sunday at various venues in Ypsilanti. All ages are welcome and all events are free, though donations are welcome.
