Jeff, as always is being gracious, but he won not because of the Snyder factor, but because he worked the streets, listened, adjusted his communications strategy and in the end had ideas more consonant with the voters of his district.

These "complete" results are missing the Precinct Delegate results. Here is a direct link to the election results: http://electionresults.ewashtenaw.org/aug2010/indexreport.html Click on cumulative report to see all results.

@Tom: Michigan does not require party registration to vote, as anyone who saw the ballot could tell. The left side of my ballot was Republican, right was Democrat, and the instructions said to vote one side or the other, but not both. The list that my ID was checked against only specified whether I was registered to vote, not whether I had ever indicated party preference or membership. (The latter might not be obvious to everyone, but I was able to read upside down when I was in kindergarden.)

AHH, we shall be subjected to voter dis-satisfaction again because less then 25% of us voted in the primary. If the vote is low because Michigan requires Party registration then lets change the law. If so few of us vote then we must congradulate those who do vote & stop complaining until we become active in the political process.

Of all the headlines about the primary race for governor, five refer to Snyder's campaign and only one is about Bernero? I am hoping it is not because A2.com has a GOP bias. Must be because Snyder is the hometown guy. This highlights a problem with A2.com - too locally focused. Let's see more stories on the state as a whole.

How can AA.com call this "complete election coverage"? The do not mention the Republican challengers for the seat held by Congressman John Dingell. Ditto for many other contests.
