No answers on Big Ten expansion; more perfection for Michigan softball
Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany isn't offering any answers to questions about expanding the league, The Chicago Tribune reports.
Delany, who is at the Bowl Championship Series meetings in Scottsdale, Ariz., offered no specifics about the process.
On a timetable: "Whether it takes six months, 12 months or 18 months, hopefully we'll do it in a way that feels comfortable."
On whether expansion is inevitable: "The presidents have been clear. This may not happen."
On how many teams the Big Ten may add: "Too early."
