the mega-guide: Michigan vs. Wisconsin, everything you need to know

Michigan running back Brandon Minor bolts through the Purdue line before heading upfield for a 55-yard touchdown run last week as part of a 152-yard performance. Michigan will need a big game from Minor again if it hopes to upset Wisconsin on the road Saturday.

WHAT: Michigan Wolverines (5-5 overall, 1-5 Big Ten) vs. No. 21 Wisconsin Badgers (7-2 overall, 4-2 Big Ten).
WHERE: Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, Wis.
KICKOFF: Saturday, 12:01 p.m.
LATEST LINE: Wisconsin is favored by 8.5 points.
TELEVISION: Big Ten Network. Wayne Larrivee will handle the play-by-play, Chris Martin serves as the color analyst and Charissa Thompson will work as the sideline reporter.
RADIO: WOMC-FM 104.3, WTKA-AM 1050.
RUNDOWN: The last time a down-and-out Michigan team played the favored Badgers, the Wolverines pulled off their greatest come-from-behind victory of all time. It was only last year when Michigan rallied from a 19-point deficit and beat No. 9 Wisconsin, 27-25.
This time around, the circumstances haven't changed much.
Michigan enters Saturday's game on a five-game conference losing streak. It's defense allows an average of nearly 400 yards per game. And now there's questions on whether Tate Forcier will start at quarterback.
A win would put Michigan in a bowl game. As unlikely as that seems, the Wolverines only need to look at last year to realize that improbable things do happen.
Here's a look at our coverage entering the game:

I was expecting better grammar. And more statistics about Charissa Thompson.
As for the game? Not holding out much hope. After the second halves against poorer competition in Purdue and Illinois, I don't think RichRod can get this team motivated.

Are you going up to madison this weekend Ed? Great town. Try the blue Marlin for dinner, right by the Capitol.
I am pulling myself away from the TV tomorrow, it is going to be to nice. i'll catch a rebroadcast on the Big Ten network later on if they do eek out a victory.

The rundown is incorrect. The 19-point comeback was not the greatest come-from-behind victory of all-time. Michigan's 38-35 victory over Minnesota in 2003 was the greatest. In that game they entered the 4th quarter down 28-7, which is a deficit of 21 points. It was the greatest comeback in Michigan Stadium history, since the Minnesota game was away.
